The Florida Association of Computers in Education, in collaboration with The Florida Digital Educator Program, has officially announced a statewide event called STUDENT VOICES. Students will be podcasting from their individual schools (or other locations) on the same day, at the same time, on the same theme, “Learning is Cool”. We want to have as many students as possible across the state raise their voices about how important is to have 21st century skills. More information will be posted here soon or you can contact your FACE Regional President for additional details events and locations in your area.

Project Goals:
- Train students on the use of technology as tool to communicate with global audience.
- Provide all students the opportunity to utilize technology as tool.
- Allow students the ability to share important topics through a variety of communication tools.

Guidelines:
- Create a podcast in standard format (audio, video, animations) .mp3 or .m4v.
- Between 2 – 5 minutes in length
- Topic should be about how “learning is cool”.
- Podcasts should be of interest to an audience beyond the state of Florida.
- Teams should consist of a maximum of 2–3 students.
